Julia Hallström Hjort grew up in the small town of Lund in the south of Sweden. With a very artistic mother, she was always encouraged to explore her creativity which has, in time, led her to explore different techniques and art styles ranging from realistic to figurative to more abstract art. Julia has an academic background in medicine and psychology, but pursuing her art has been what she enjoys the most.

She describes her poster collection as inspired by nature and nordic design and can easily fit with a variety of interiors through the use of neutral tones.
